Welcome! My name is Jen and I am the owner of Miss Jen's Licensed Childcare business located in my Santee home. I am a native San Diegan and have been a Santee resident for over 10 years. I have two children of my own. While my license allows me to care for up to 8 children I limit myself to 4 or 5 because I prefer to be able to concentrate my attention on a smaller group of children. I became an aunt at a very young age and discovered that children bring a lot of joy and light into my life and I have dedicated myself to caring for kids ever since. I have highlighted my experience and qualifications below for your reference.

* Over 20 years of childcare experience including children with special health   

    care needs; a Premature newborn from age 6 weeks till elementary school; 

    a Type 1 Insulin-dependent Diabetic toddler from 18 months old until elementary school

* Certified First Aid/ CPR/ Child Safety; Special courses for Child Health and 

   Welfare. Immunizations current.

About Miss Jen's Daycare

* Parental input and communication are very important!

* Daily structured routine including meals, snacks, playtime, crafts, reading

   time, and outdoor play (weather and age-appropriate). Friday's are 'Watch a

   Disney movie day!'

* Every child's health and safety are a top priority! We have multiple baby monitors

   for nap time and a Ring doorbell surveillance system.

* Provide healthy meals and snacks for your child.
